Dickens’ Christmas Carol would be awesome!

    • Tim

Dickens HATED “A Christmas Carol”. He ONLY wrote it because he was guaranteed money for it up front, and he agreed to get he and his family through a particularly rough period financially. He LOATHED not only the prospect and the process of writing it, but the result; and he felt that way until the day he died. HANDS DOWN his ‘worst’ book (to the extent that ANY BOOK by Dickens can be, EVEN A CHRISTMAS ONE).
