Through the Looking-Glass statue in Great Britain

Before we start designing each poster, we always spend some time researching more in-depth the plot, theme and the overall artistic viewpoint of the author.

During our research for Through the Looking-Glass, we came across this interesting statue of Alice from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass novels.

Where is this marvelous statue located? At Guildford Castle - of course! It’s one of Carroll’s favorite walking destinations, as well as the location where he completed Through the Looking-Glass in 1871. You can find more detailed information here: http://www.guildford.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=3481

As you can probably tell already - it was the main source of inspiration for our Through the Looking-Glass poster!
