Celebrating Douglas Adams' Quirky and Insightful Quotes

douglas Adams   This coming Friday will be Postertext's very first Famous Quote Friday. What is Famous Quote Friday (you may be wondering)? Well, it's true to its title; we will be posting up different quotes from your favorite authors every week! I feel that this week would be a good week to celebrate Douglas Adams and his too short time here on Earth with all us humanoids. It’s not just his cult hit The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy that makes me more than eager to down a Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster in his memory, but also the quirky and insightful quotes that can be drawn from his series of novels. But it’s difficult choosing just one for our first Famous Quote Friday, so I thought it might be fun to feature a few before we reach that date. Let us know which Douglas Adams quotes are your favorites, and why, and we’ll be sure to post a couple up throughout the week! And to start us off, one of my favorites from the beginning of the series: “..any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the Galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through and still know where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.” -- Douglas Adams
