A Little More Hemingway

It’s always difficult to get enough of Ernest Hemingway, beloved author of great works such as A Farewell to Arms and For Whom the Bell Tolls. There has always been a great amount of controversy and debate surrounding his suicide and the reasons for it. Some say his paranoia and depression drove him to it while others argue that his known issues with alcohol finally sent him over the edge. One of Hemingway’s long time friends A.E. Hotchner has written this article detailing a different story: one of perceived paranoia that ultimately turned out to be reality. Unfortunately, it is a sad story no matter how you tell it – and on that will inevitably always end the same way (but an interesting article none the less). On a side note, I recommend that you take time to see Woody Allen's latest film Midnight in Paris in which actor Corey Stoll does a very poignant and passionate portrayal of Ernest Hemingway that will make you want to laugh and cry at the same time. Enjoy! :)
