Undeniably, Herman Melville's tour de force novel, Moby Dick, is a difficult read. It is considered a badge of honor to manage your way from beginning to end through Melville’s heavy and descriptive rhetoric, and I’m pretty sure I can count on one hand the amount of people I know who have actually read this entire book.
