Have you ever experienced issues understanding or identifying with a particular novel? This generally seems to happen with high-school or college English where, in order to obtain a passing grade, you are forced to finish books that may come across as dry or difficult to read. However, even novels that are meant to be pleasurable reads for your spare time can become irritating thorns in your side which you are alternatively ignoring, then picking at, in hopes that you will eventually be struck with a ray of brilliant knowledge or a book-related epiphany.
But for those of us for whom the epiphany never comes, sometimes we can fall back on literature crashcourses on YouTube! So today I have for you two great videos which offer a quick look into the world of J.D. Salinger’s novel The Catcher in the Rye. Both Part 1 and Part 2 have a lot of interesting and, at times, witty perceptions about the book; they are definitely worth checking out. Enjoy! :)
