One of my favorite things in this world is ice-cream. Day, night, lunch or dinner, I always have room in my tummy for some of that cold, creamy goodness. And, of course, I also love books and, sometimes, I even love doing these two activities together: eating some delicious ice-cream while getting lost in the pages of a really great book.
So I was a bit disappointed when I realized today that I had completely missed out on National Ice-Cream Month which falls every year in July. At the end of the day, however, most of us don’t really need an excuse like National Ice-Cream Month to actually enjoy a significant amount of this delectable delicacy so I’m not losing any sleep over having forgotten to celebrate it back in July.
However, I am a little disappointed about what I didn’t discover until now. Quirk Books posted a series of literary inspired ice-cream flavors back in July which are guaranteed to make you drool and grin at the same time. I think my favorite has got to be the one based on Dr. Seuss’ book One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish which even comes with a rather tasty rhyme to describe the flavor! So tell us, which one of these literary ice-creams would you be willing to dive into, spoon in hand? :D
