As the end of the year nears, it’s always fun to look back and see what some of the best reads for 2013 have been. The popular reading site GoodReads recently took votes for the Goodreads Choice Awards 2013 in order to see what readers(yes, people like you or I) thought were some of the best books for this past year. Look at is as something like an Oscar awards ceremony for books, if you will.
The people have spoken, and delicious arrays of novels from different genres have been presented as the winners. Whether talking about And the Mountains Echoedby Khaled Hosseini as the winner of the 2013 number one Fiction, or I Am Malala byMalala Yousafzai which took home the number one slot in Memoir & Autobiography, people are talking and, more importantly, reading! I know there are a couple GoodReads picks that I plan on perusing very soon. What about you? :)
