In our modern times, we find it easy to express ourselves in a variety of ways. From Facebook to Twitter, the great worldwide web is out there waiting for us to flaunt our thoughts, personalities, and preferences. But how can these social networks help artists express themselves or help new art to be created in distinct ways?
Artist Teju Cole addressed this question straight on when he went ahead and wrote an entire story using…Tweets. Yes, you heard right: Cole’s story ‘Hafiz’ was written using those short, 140 character long sentences we call Tweets – which, you’ve got to admit, is pretty darn awesome.

Be sure to check in with your thoughts! What do you think about this method of story-telling? Do you find it appropriate for our times or inappropriate for the art form of writing? Let us know!
