Everyone generally has a different definition of what they would consider ‘great’ literature. These days, it seems the lines are becoming more and more blurry when it comes to good literature and great literature and it can be quite frustrating to see the publishing market booming with popular books which are, quite simply put, at times atrociously written.
But there are some things which probably will never change in the book world. For example, War and Peaceby Leo Tolstoy will probably always be considered a giant of literature and many classics will hopefully be must-reads for a long time to come.
If you’re looking for some great literature to add to your reading list, you may feel at a bit of a loss. You don’t want to take just anyone’s word for it, right? But what about famous authors? If they can’t suggest great literature, then I’d say that the rest of us mere mortals are probably in a bit of trouble.

And who is the number one writer with 327 points earned? You guessed it, Leo Tolstoy! I guess some things never change and some authors will always remain great.
